One of the best things I’ve ever done. The client was extremely nervous about the script. The head of planning at the agency wrote to the client telling her that she shouldn’t make the spot but no Unilever ad had ever got such high scores in research and so we went ahead. The director Jeff Stark handled things brilliantly and the spot was famous from the UK to Australia winning all the big global prizes and even the Grand Prix at the Slovakian advertising awards. The earned media value was also huge as newspapers in the seventeen countries where the ad ran all picked up on it in a big way.
